About me
It started in 2006 with a marketplace for artists and musicians, built on the side while studying business and economics at the European Business School, Stockholm School of Economics, and Harvard University.
After graduating in 2010, Patrick McKenna and Frederik Fleck, seasoned business angels from the US and Germany, backed me to build ExpertCloud, a virtual call center. I grew it from a single agent to 300, serving major B2B clients like Tchibo, Sky, and Lampenwelt.
Today I run Volders, Germany's largest legal tech company, serving more than 10 million customers. I founded it in 2014, acquired our biggest competitor Aboalarm in 2022 and FINE Legal in 2024, and most recently launched Rechtspilot, an AI-powered legal assistant.
What gets me out of bed: setting strategy, shaping and refining digital products, and tracking down exceptional talent.

How I contribute
I'm an active investor, and I'm committed to providing support wherever I can add value to your business. I offer firsthand experience, having encountered all entrepreneurial challenges as a sole founder scaling from 0 up to 200 employees and bring to the table a substantial network of product experts, advisors, legal professionals, and fellow investors.
While I do enjoy a company's growth, my real interest lies in solving the tough parts: the challenges, obstacles, and setbacks that come with building a business. It is demanding, and very few can deal with the emotional and mental toll. I find fulfillment in tackling these phases.
